B+D 13: Architecture AF

That’s not the Manhattan or the Hamptons. But they’ve built there, too. ArchitecureAF‘s Andrew Herbert and Forrest Frazier figured their voids at the the University of Virginia then at droolable firms Res4, Alterstudio, and Tod Williams and Billie Tsien. They even narrowly, I mean narrowly, eked out a win at the Historic Richmond Infill Design Competition over a fellow B+D board of guzzler. There’s talk of a thumb-wrestling round two – we’ll see.
