B+D6: Visual Arts Center of Richmond
The Visual Arts Center of Richmond has been fostering creativity and community engagement for 50 years. That’s a long time, people. Take a stroll through their facility in The Fan and you’ll meet artists working with clay, wood, fiber, paint, cameras, letterpresses, glass, metal, pencils, words, and pixels. And the best part – those artists could be you! The Center offers a compelling list of classes designed to boost your creative expression, as well as rotating gallery exhibits, community events, and open studios. We can’t thank them enough for opening their custom-fabricated metal doors and sharing their creativity for Beer+Design 6: Tall Tales. Join us at 5:30pm, February 19th at the Visual Arts Center, 1812 W Main Street.
(And in case you were wondering – yes, that is a handmade business card with a heart on it from one of their vintage presses.)
